West Michigan Whitecaps
Tours of Fifth Third Ballpark
History:
People have been taking tours of Fifth Third Ballpark since the inaugural season in 1994.
Description:
Tours are a great way for people to get a “behind the scenes” look at how a professional baseball stadium is run. Tourists may be shown the dugout; field, clubhouses (locker rooms), luxury suites, television and radio broadcast booths, as well as the public address booth.
Tours may be given year round, but are much more informative during the months of April-September when the Whitecaps season is in full swing. Tours will be conducted Monday through Friday only. The times available range from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on game days, and 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on non-game days. Tours take approximately one hour. Later tours may be available on game days; however, certain areas of Fifth Third Ballpark may be off limits during later tours.
Lunch is available for a charge of $4.00 per person for groups of 15 or more. Lunch includes one hot dog, a bag of chips, and a soft drink. Lunch may be served either on the Deck or the Altogas First Base BBQ area.
