My name is Franky! I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan and I am one of the official mascots of the West Michigan Whitecaps. I live right next to Fifth Third Ballpark with my best pal Crash.
I have been here since 1996. I was drafted by the Whitecaps in the first round. Since then, I have witnessed some awesome moments in baseball history.
My favorite thing in the world is to swim in the Grand River with Crash! We have the most fun during ballgames getting the crowd excited! Every time I get the crowd to Raise the Roof, we win! Now Crash certainly helps, but I like to think that I'm the true hero of the ballpark.
My favorite activity during a Whitecaps game is helping my buddy Crash try to win his signature event: the Comcast Cable Crash Dash. It just seems like every time we try to think of something new to help him, it always messes up.
I'm second in command when it comes to keeping the other mascots in line. If Crash needs help, I step up to the plate and help him out.
Like Crash, my responsibilities go outside the games. I help critique all the food that comes into Fifth Third Ballpark. I taste-test every food item we serve and give Director of Food and Beverage Matt Timon my expert opinion.

Outstanding Achievement: 2002 - Became the only Swimming Pig to ever float down the Grand River blindfolded.
